Chinese Quest is a Mandarin learning app for families. We designed the app to be simple, local-first, and privacy-conscious.

Information We Collect

Chinese Quest does not require an account and does not collect personal information from users. We do not use third-party advertising, behavioral tracking, analytics SDKs, or social networking features.

Photos, Audio, and Custom Quest Content

Chinese Quest may let a parent or family member create custom practice content using photos, labels, and recorded audio. This content is used only inside the app experience on the device. It is not uploaded to our servers by Chinese Quest.

Children's Privacy

Chinese Quest is intended for family-guided learning. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians should supervise custom content they create for a child.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information because Chinese Quest does not collect personal information through the app.

Data Storage and Deletion

Custom app content, if created, is stored locally on the device. You can remove local app data by deleting the app from the device. Future versions may add more data controls, and this policy will be updated if data practices change.

External Services

The current app does not require a login, backend account, cloud sync, third-party ads, or analytics. App distribution and crash processing may be handled by Apple according to Apple's own policies and settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Chinese Quest changes. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above.
